Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Turbitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawson comes to the cage accompanied by Cog - Run. Sam Turbitt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looks like Sam Turbitt has been cut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dawson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Turbitt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dawson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Turbitt goes for a takedown attempt but Dawson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Tony Dawson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Turbitt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dawson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Turbitt is rocked!

Turbitt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dawson's waist but Dawson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turbitt off to one side.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Dawson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

That has opened up Sam Turbitt's cut even more.
Dawson pushes Turbitt against the cage. Dawson is working some dirty boxing. Dawson pushes off with a quick right hook! Turbitt goes down! Turbitt tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Dawson moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
