Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Jersey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman has chosen Real American as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jersey lands a really nice looking cross but Freeman seems unphased.
Freeman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Freeman looks for a takedown but Jersey sprawls well.
Freeman misses with a head kick.
Jersey has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jersey there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jersey tries to clinch up but Freeman circles away and keeps his distance.
Jersey turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jersey scores with a decent looking hook.
Jersey moves into range and connects with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jersey pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Freeman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jersey avoids it really well and circles away.

Freeman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jersey looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Freeman tries to advance to mount but can't.
Jersey manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Freeman won't allow Jersey to pass to mount.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jersey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jersey wants to control from the top but Freeman keeps moving.

Freeman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jersey is one step ahead there.
Freeman controls Jersey momentarily but Jersey frees himself.
Jersey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jersey jabs Freeman to the body, keeping him at a distance.

A bone on bone clash there as Freeman blocks the leg kick.

Jersey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Freeman. That did some damage!
