Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adolf Jakobsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakobsen has chosen Wu Tang Clan - M.E.T.H.O.D Man as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakobsen misses with a takedown attempt
and Newton counters with a body kick.
Newton connects with a body shot.
Newton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jakobsen.
Newton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jakobsen looks winded!
Jakobsen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Newton explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Newton connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Newton keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Jakobsen walks into a jab.
Newton lands with a kick to the temple. Jakobsen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Newton throws a shot to the body.
Jakobsen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Newton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jakobsen.

Newton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jakobsen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Newton can pounce on him.

Chris Newton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Newton lands a jab to Jakobsen's midsection.
Newton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Newton. Jakobsen shrugs it off though.

Newton lands a left and a right that send Jakobsen crashing to the mat, dazed. Newton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jakobsen is rocked!

It looks like Adolf Jakobsen has been cut.
Newton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jakobsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Newton finish him?
Newton circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jakobsen to the canvas! Jakobsen doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Newton keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
