Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Barney Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pow has chosen Boom Boom Pow as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Barney Ross could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Boom Pow's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pow dodges the punch combination from Ross.
Ross looks to land a right hand but Pow moved out of range.
Pow fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ross as he jumps to the side.
Ross avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pow misses with a combination
and Ross counters with a one-two to the body.
A swing and a miss from Ross.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ross throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ross.

It looks like Boom Pow has been cut.
Pow swinging wildly here.
Ross defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pow.
Barney Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boom Pow.
Pow misses with a combination
and Ross counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ross pinned against the cage. Ross gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ross rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ross connects with a right hand. Pow shakes it off.
Ross lands with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ross takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ross defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pow.
Barney Ross is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pow with a poor takedown
and Ross counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pow thinking.
Pow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ross.

Pow throws a front kick that sends Ross stumbling back into the cage.
Pow shoots in but Ross avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pow fails to land with a series of punches.
Ross lands a slapping body shot.
Pow takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pow tries to close the distance and clinch but Ross swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pow dives in and grabs Ross's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ross pushes down on Pow's head and hops out.
Pow looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ross lands with an uppercut that bounces Pow off the cage and back into range.
Donk. Ross catches Pow right on the button with a cross.
Pow tries to bum rush Ross with a series of wild strikes but Ross uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ross thows a body shot but no joy.
Ross tests Pow's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Pow is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pow walks straight into a right hand from Ross - that's dropped him! Ross jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pow from any more punishment! Pow complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
