Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Maivia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redd shoots in for a takedown but Maivia shows good takedown defense.

Redd closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Maivia's guard.

Maivia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Redd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that DeAndre Redd will probably get the nod.

Redd closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Redd lands in his opponent's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maivia is on top in guard.

Maivia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maivia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
