Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franz Beckenbauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bard Palawszewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palawszewski has chosen Type 0 Negative Kill you tonight as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Franz Beckenbauer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Franz Beckenbauer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckenbauer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Palawszewski moves into the clinch.
Beckenbauer has Palawszewski pressed against the cage, preventing Palawszewski from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Beckenbauer is trying to drag Palawszewski to the mat but Palawszewski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Palawszewski breaks from the clinch.
Palawszewski lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Beckenbauer sprawling to the canvas. Palawszewski follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Beckenbauer hang on?
It looks like Franz Beckenbauer has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Palawszewski escapes and gets back to his feet.
Palawszewski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beckenbauer circles away quickly and effectively.
Palawszewski moves into range and clinches up with Beckenbauer.
Palawszewski manages to break the clinch.
Palawszewski looks to land a combination but Beckenbauer avoids it well.
Palawszewski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beckenbauer manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Palawszewski , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Beckenbauer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Palawszewski misses with a wild combination.
Bard Palawszewski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Palawszewski looks to score with a jab to the body but Beckenbauer is just out of range.

Beckenbauer gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Palawszewski gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
