The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junkula's corner calls for a 1-2. Junkula obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Torkel Pettersson has been cut.
Pettersson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Junkula manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pettersson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pettersson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Junkula throws a hook but Pettersson avoids it easily.

Pettersson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Pettersson misses with a two punch combination.
Junkula throws a jab but it's blocked by Pettersson.
Pettersson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pettersson stands up from Junkula's guard - Pettersson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Pettersson tries to clinch there but Junkula circles away.
Pettersson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Junkula's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Junkula is trying to control the position from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Junkula throws a looping overhand right but Pettersson ducks down to avoid it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pettersson is looking to take a break and control but Junkula is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pettersson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pettersson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Junkula!

Pettersson is working for a guillotine from mount but Junkula frees his head quite easily.

Pettersson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Junkula gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pettersson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Pettersson stays in close to Junkula's body and controls the position.

Pettersson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Pettersson seems to have locked his on tight now - Junkula screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Pettersson, as he picks up the win!
