Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Megani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jensen comes to the ring accompanied by Devour . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Megani circles away quickly and effectively.
Jensen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Megani.
Megani has a takedown stuffed.
Megani rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jensen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jensen staying out of range there.
Megani swings widly with a right hand
and Jensen counters with a series of strikes. Megani will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Megani looks to throw the jab but Jensen is out of range.

Megani wants to hit a switch here but Jensen passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Megani there!
Megani is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Megani holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Jensen tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Megani is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Jensen throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jensen lands a heavy elbow.
Megani wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jensen.
Megani is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jensen throwing strikes but Megani recovers to half guard. A much better position.
Jensen is trying to control. Megani wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Megani tries to get to full guard but Jensen has control of the leg.
Jensen is pressing down on Megani's thigh, looking to free his foot. Megani is holding on for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jensen is looking for a kimura but Megani is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jensen to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Megani throws out a loose jab but Jensen uses good head movement to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Megani misses the target.
Megani fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Megani displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jensen.
Megani throws a poor cross that misses
and Jensen counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Megani takes a kick to the side of the head.
Megani misses with an uppercut
and Jensen counters with an inside leg kick.
Megani ducks under a wild hook from Jensen.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jensen.
Megani tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jensen swivels and escapes.
A swing and a miss from Megani.

Megani swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jensen here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Jensen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Megani scores with a takedown into Jensen's guard.
Megani is in close to Jensen's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Jensen is looking to sinch up a triangle. Megani throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jensen's body to avoid the submission. Jensen has instead reached around Megani's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jensen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Gunnar Jensen!
A relieved looking Gunnar Jensen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
