Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregor Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousasi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fernandez was well out of range. Poor timing from Mousasi.
Mousasi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fernandez shoots and misses
and Mousasi counters with a left to the body.
Fernandez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mousasi jabs Fernandez right on the nose. Fernandez blinks but takes it well.
Mousasi lands a nice shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mousasi. Fernandez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Mousasi. Those never looked like landing.
Mousasi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fernandez momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Mousasi counters with a single leg into guard. Fernandez didn't expect that.

Fernandez is rocked!
Mousasi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Fernandez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mousasi gets to his feet and stands over Fernandez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Fernandez felt that one! Mousasi unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Fernandez from any more punishment!
