Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mineirinho Uai So (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Cain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mineirinho Uai So!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain throws a nice looking combination but Uai So bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cain wants to clinch.
Cain works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Daniel Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cain tries to close the distance and clinch but Uai So swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Uai So scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Uai So is trying to control the action in half guard but Cain is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cain is staying active underneath Uai So, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uai So on the ground.
Uai So content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mineirinho Uai So wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Uai So.
Uai So swats away the attempt to clinch by Cain.

Uai So moves into the clinch successfully.
Cain prevents the takedown attempt.
Cain managing to block the knees to the body from Uai So.
Uai So blocks the elbow strike.

Cain tries a knee to the head but Uai So blocks it.

Uai So shoots in looking for a takedown. Cain tries to sprawl out of it but Uai So keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Daniel Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mineirinho Uai So.
Uai So on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Uai So wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cain keeps working.

Uai So decides to stand back up. Uai So steps back and let's Cain get back to his feet.
Uai So drops his hands momentarily and Cain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Uai So fails to land with a series of punches.
Cain closes the distance but Uai So moves to the side
and Uai So counters with a three punch combo that has Cain backing up. Cain nods at Uai So to acknowledge the strikes.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Uai So.
Uai So looks winded!
Cain tries to clinch but Uai So is having none of it.

Uai So escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Uai So throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cain won't allow Uai So to sweep him here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cain is working Uai So over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

A close round but Mineirinho Uai So will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Cain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Uai So paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Uai So looks for a takedown but Cain sprawls well.
Uai So swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Uai So lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cain backwards.

Uai So gets control of Cain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Uai So will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Uai So is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cain buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Uai So shoots in and gets a takedown into Cain's guard.

Uai So drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Uai So jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Uai So won't allow Cain to get back to his feet.

Oooooh!!! Cain has knocked Uai So down with a huge combo! Cain steps away and waves a wobbly Uai So back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Mineirinho Uai So has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uai So looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cain is fending him off so far but Uai So persists. Nope, Cain circles away and we're back to standing.
