Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zeh Pequeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Miguel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pequeno tries for a takedown but Miguel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pequeno shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miguel sprawls well. Miguel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pequeno gets slowly back to his feet.

Miguel clinches with his opponent.
Miguel jumps guard but Pequeno stands there with Miguel around his waist. Miguel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Pequeno is nestled in close to Miguel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pequeno accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pequeno is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Pequeno is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Pequeno looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Miguel is fending him off so far but Pequeno persists. Nope, Miguel circles away and we're back to standing.

Miguel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pequeno is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miguel can do to turn this around?

Pequeno turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pequeno manages to end up in side control.

In his post fight interview, Zeh Pequeno started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
