The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alakazam shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Duncan bucks up and throws Alakazam to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Alakazam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duncan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Duncan tries to free his leg and advance position but Alakazam is retaining full guard.

Alakazam throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Duncan escapes and throws Alakazam's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Alakazam drops back looking for a leg! Duncan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Duncan manages to kick Alakazam off! Alakazam jumps back into Duncan's guard.
