And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hernandez clinches up with Ivanov and pushes him back against the cage.
Hernandez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hernandez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hernandez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ivanov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hernandez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hernandez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ivanov looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ivanov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hernandez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ivanov to the mat. Ivanov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ivanov can't keep his opponent in guard - Hernandez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Hernandez looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hernandez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Hernandez advances nicely into full mount.
Ivanov is bucking up trying to escape but Hernandez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Hernandez lands a big shot to the head and Ivanov winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

A relieved looking Miguel Hernandez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
