The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre slips a jab and a cross from The Prodigy.

Andre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Andre tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Carlos Andre just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The Prodigy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
BJ The Prodigy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Andre feints and as The Prodigy raises his hands in defense, Andre changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Andre decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The Prodigy looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Andre is defending well. The Prodigy quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Andre has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! The Prodigy celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
