The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanola closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kungen to the mat! Kungen manages to get full guard.
Zanola stands up and waves to Kungen to follow him.
Zanola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Zanola missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kungen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zanola scores with a couple of nice shots.
Zanola lands strikes from half guard.
Zanola is working for a kimura but Kungen is defending it quite comfortably.
Zanola looks gassed!
Kungen is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kungen trying to control but Zanola postures up.
Kungen works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kungen wants to stand and escape but Zanola is having none of it.
Kungen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zanola on the ground.
Zanola wants to control from the top but Kungen keeps moving.
Zanola might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kungen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Zanola takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Kungen lands with a big right hook that stumbles Zanola - he's out on his feet here! Kungen follows up with another monster hook that separates Zanola from consciousness! Zanola falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kungen stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
