Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kalel Iziarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Quinn or perhaps it was just good defense by Iziarry which made him look bad.

Quinn tries to keep at a distance but Iziarry has taken the fight into the clinch.
Quinn wants a takedown.
Kalel Iziarry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Quinn.
Quinn is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Iziarry is defending well.

Iziarry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Iziarry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Iziarry lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Iziarry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Iziarry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Quinn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Quinn is striking but Iziarry is not phased and passes to half guard.

Iziarry thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Iziarry is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Iziarry is working for a submission of some sort.

Iziarry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Quinn's head.
Iziarry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Iziarry is looking for a kimura but Quinn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Iziarry to get the leverage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Iziarry is working to tighten is grip on Quinn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Quinn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Iziarry is really squeezing tight and eventually Quinn passes out! Iziarry breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

In his post fight interview, Kalel Iziarry started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
