Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wally Butcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Knowshon Zavier!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zavier lands with a thumping leg kick.
Butcher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Zavier lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Butcher looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A jab from Zavier finds it's way through Butcher's defenses.
It looks like Wally Butcher has been cut.
Butcher throws a wild body kick that Zavier sees coming a mile off.
Butcher is looking to chop away at Zavier's legs.
Zavier lands a really nice looking cross but Butcher seems unphased.
Butcher lands with an uppercut that bounces Zavier off the cage and back into range.
Butcher tries to move into range but Zavier moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good leg kick by Butcher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zavier throws a shot to the body.
Butcher slips a jab from Zavier.
Zavier turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zavier waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Butcher.
Zavier misses with a kick to the body.
Zavier takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Zavier tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Butcher swings for the body but Zavier moves out of range.
Zavier tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Butcher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Butcher misses with a low kick.
Butcher avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oooooh!!! Butcher has knocked Zavier down with a huge combo! Butcher steps away and waves a wobbly Zavier back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Zavier is rocked!
It looks like Knowshon Zavier has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Butcher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zavier is still on wobbly legs! Can Butcher finish him?
Butcher throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Zavier crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Wally Butcher!
