Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erick Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson scores with a nice right hand.
Lee Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jackson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Erick Silva has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson lands the left hand.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Jackson lands with a nice body punch.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Silva.
Silva shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Silva looks winded!
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jackson moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Jackson has cracked Silva with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Jackson lands another huge swinging hook and Silva tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Silva, before Jackson can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lee Jackson!
Lee Jackson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
