Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Dowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Dowe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dowe rushes Gunderson and presses him up against the cage.

Dowe manages to break the clinch.

Dowe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gunderson is looking for a sweep.

Dowe prevents Gunderson from improving his position.
Dowe passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gunderson!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gunderson is trying to improve his position.
Dowe is looking to take a break and control but Gunderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
