Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ted Coke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coke comes to the cage accompanied by Cocaine. Easton has chosen Tech N9ne The Beast (Uncensored) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ted Coke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cody Easton!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coke looks to land a left hand but Easton moved out of range nicely.
Easton is looking to land body kicks.
Coke throws a hook to the side of Easton's head but Easton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Coke throws a big shot that misses.
Easton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Coke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A jab from Coke finds it's way through Easton's defenses.

Coke clinches up against the cage.

Coke breaks the clinch.
Easton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Coke.
Coke throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Coke fails with the takedown.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Coke throws a hook but Easton blocks it.
Coke takes a swing at Easton's ribcage but misses.
A punch lands to the side of Easton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Easton ducks under a wild hook from Coke.
Easton swings for the body but Coke moves out of range.
Easton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Easton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coke moves away.
Easton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coke tests Easton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A swing and a miss from Coke.
Coke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Easton on the side of the head.


Easton is rocked!

Coke clinches up with Easton and pushes him back against the cage.
Coke looking for a takedown.
Nice body punch from Coke - that landed with a thud.

Coke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Easton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Coke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Easton.

Coke closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Easton's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Easton can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Coke looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Easton wants to get back to his feet but Coke is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Coke advances to half guard.

Coke stands up out of the half guard.
Easton throws a series of punches but Coke moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Easton.
Coke misses the shot to the body.
Coke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Easton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Coke throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Easton's head.
Easton is still on wobbly legs! Can Coke finish him?
Coke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Easton gets tackled into the cage by Coke. Coke maintains the clinch.
Easton seems to have recovered his senses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coke just leaning against Easton, taking a breather.
Coke drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Coke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Coke tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Easton avoids it.

Coke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Easton swings for the body but Coke moves out of range.
Ted Coke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coke lands a nice looking body shot.
Coke catches Easton with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Coke scores with a nice strike.
Easton tries to get into range but Coke steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Easton! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Coke scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ted Coke!
Ted Coke decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
