Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Montee Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Bigelow!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis looks to land a left hand but Bigelow moved out of range nicely.
Lewis stuffs the takedown attempt from Bigelow. Bigelow gets slowly back to his feet.
Bigelow dives in and grabs Lewis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes down on Bigelow's head and hops out.
Bigelow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lewis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lewis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lewis leaves Bigelow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Montee Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Bigelow.
Lewis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bigelow is out of range.
Lewis lands a nice hook to Bigelow's body. Bigelow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bigelow closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lewis's guard.
Bigelow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lewis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lewis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bigelow controls the pace.
Bigelow wants to pass the guard but Lewis is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bigelow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bigelow passes Lewis's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bigelow has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lewis defend it? Bigelow steps over the head and cranks it - Lewis is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bigelow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Al Bigelow!
A very excited looking Al Bigelow rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
