Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Takayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takayama comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. Brandon Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takayama as he avoids it easily.

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Takayama shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silva wants to hit a switch here but Takayama passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Silva there!

Takayama is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Silva knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Silva for a finish.

Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Takayama asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
