The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamondback takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Diamondback throws a leg kick but Darko sees it coming and moves out of range.
Diamondback could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and Darko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Darko motions for Diamondback to come forward. Darko throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Darko swings and misses with a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Darko.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Diamondback takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Diamondback wants to break the clinch but can't.
Darko misses with a hook from the clinch.
Diamondback is trying to force a seperation but Darko has the dominant position.
Darko lands a hook that snaps the head of Diamondback backwards.

Diamondback blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Darko tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Diamondback's elbow.

Both fighters circling a little - Darko finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Darko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diamondback wants to land a leg kick but Darko is out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Darko checks a leg kick.
Donnie Darko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diamondback takes one to the side of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Darko, as that shot connected.

It looks like Andrei Diamondback has been cut.
Darko feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Diamondback's calf.
Darko looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Diamondback takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Diamondback moves forwards but Darko connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Darko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Diamondback is rocked!
Diamondback walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Diamondback is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
