Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Brock Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boba Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boba Fett!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Smith stalks Fett and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fett's face. Fett staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Boba Fett has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fett avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fett misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fett scores with a nice body kick.
Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fett.
Brock Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fett throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fett lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Fett delivers a nice body kick.
Fett dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage!
Fett throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fett throws a nice outside leg kick.
Fett thuds his shin into the meat of Smith's side.
Fett bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Fett jabs at Smith's body.
Smith blocks a head kick by Fett.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fett lands a right hook to the body.
Fett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fett lands a leg kick that knocks Smith off balance momentarily.
Crunch! Fett slams his shin into Smith's torso.
Fett fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smith ducks into a a hook from Fett and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Fett thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Smith if he has to take too many more of those.
Smith walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Fett and drops face first to the floor! Smith's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Smith in no position to continue!
