Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sypher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Coming Home. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sypher looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sypher takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Daniel Sypher has been cut.

Jones gets a takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sypher can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones decides to return to a standing position.
Daniel Sypher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jones stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sypher to get to his feet.
BOOM! Jones lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sypher. Sypher tries to recover but Jones is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sypher lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Jones!
A relieved looking Jon Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
