Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pikku Kakkipylly!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Corneo Stilztkin!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakkipylly throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kakkipylly tries to close the distance and clinch but Stilztkin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stilztkin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kakkipylly's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kakkipylly looking to control.
Kakkipylly is really struggling to control Stilztkin but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Kakkipylly wants to get back to his feet but Stilztkin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stilztkin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kakkipylly keeping full guard, as Stilztkin tries to pass.
Stilztkin trying to control but Kakkipylly is working from the bottom.
Stilztkin landing some decent shots from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kakkipylly wants to sweep here but Stilztkin controlling him for the moment.

Stilztkin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Stilztkin lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Stilztkin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Stilztkin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stilztkin won't allow Kakkipylly to get back to his feet.
Stilztkin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kakkipylly is keeping the position for now.
Stilztkin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Stilztkin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stilztkin throws a strike but Kakkipylly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Stilztkin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kakkipylly is aware though and is defending well.
Kakkipylly trying to control but Stilztkin is working from the bottom.
Stilztkin has a closed guard, preventing Kakkipylly from standing up.

Stilztkin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stilztkin is looking to sweep but instead, Kakkipylly has passed into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stilztkin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Stilztkin moves into full guard.
Kakkipylly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stilztkin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Stilztkin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kakkipylly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kakkipylly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kakkipylly is posturing up here but Stilztkin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kakkipylly tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kakkipylly has to tap! Slick submission there by Stilztkin!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Corneo Stilztkin! Corneo Stilztkin retains his middleweight title!
Corneo Stilztkin very nearly forgot to thank STEEL PENN'S 160 OF STEEL $50 Rio amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
