Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tontza Pulikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamoru Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Pulikka finds it's way through Takamura's defenses.
Takamura uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pulikka.
Takamura throws a wild body kick that Pulikka sees coming a mile off.
Pulikka lands a jab.
Tontza Pulikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takamura gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pulikka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Takamura.

It looks like Mamoru Takamura has been cut.

Takamura gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Takamura with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pulikka to score with a decent uppercut.

and Pulikka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Takamura is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pulikka.

Pulikka's jab looks to have found its range, popping Takamura under the eye.
Pulikka scores with a hook to the body. Takamura takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Takamura walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That has opened up Mamoru Takamura's cut even more.
Pulikka drops Takamura with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pulikka follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
