Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ansgar Axelsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Axelsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to one bourbon one scotch one beer. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tanner's choice of entrance music: Don't Bite the Dick. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Axelsson tries to bum rush Tanner with a series of wild strikes but Tanner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Axelsson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tanner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Axelsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanner manages to avoid it.

Tanner comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tanner lands a really nice looking cross but Axelsson seems unphased.

Tanner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Axelsson circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tanner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Axelsson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Axelsson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tanner.
Axelsson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanner.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Axelsson. Tanner does a little dance to reset his feet.

Tanner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tanner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dick Tanner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Axelsson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tanner! Axelsson dives in looking to finish! Tanner is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ansgar Axelsson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that *BURIED ALIVE* Fight Gear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
