Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Yoshimitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Schmitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmitt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Demons. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshimitsu tries to clinch there but Schmitt circles away.

Yoshimitsu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Yoshimitsu is looking for a takedown.
Yoshimitsu wants a takedown but no success here.
Yoshimitsu misses with a body punch.
Yoshimitsu has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Schmitt after a bit of a struggle.

Schmitt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Schmitt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yoshimitsu wants to stand and escape but Schmitt is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gregory Schmitt was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Schmitt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yoshimitsu on his heels. He'll look to pass Yoshimitsu's guard now, I'm sure.
Yoshimitsu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Schmitt is controlling him.

Yoshimitsu uses the cage to get back to his feet.

letting Schmitt counter with a right hand.

Yoshimitsu tries to sprawl but Schmitt drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Schmitt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Schmitt drops an elbow to the side of Yoshimitsu's head.
Schmitt wants to get back to his feet.
Yoshimitsu has a hand on Schmitt's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Schmitt takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Schmitt has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Yoshimitsu's face.
Yoshimitsu is bucking up trying to escape but Schmitt cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Oh Yoshimitsu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schmitt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Schmitt postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Yoshimitsu in real trouble here! The ref calls for Yoshimitsu to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

In his post fight interview, Gregory Schmitt gave a big smile as he said 'Bang! Bang!'.
