The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drinkis is looking to chop away at Cheshire's legs.
Cheshire circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drinkis moves out of range of the leg kick from Cheshire.
Drinkis misses with a hook.
Drinkis swats away the attempt to clinch by Cheshire.
No joy there for Drinkis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Drinkis counters with a shoot takedown. Cheshire fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cheshire is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Drinkis throwing strikes but missing.
Drinkis distracts Cheshire with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Drinkis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Drinkis throwing strikes from guard but Cheshire blocks nicely.
Drinkis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Cheshire wants to sweep here but Drinkis controlling him for the moment.
Cheshire will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cheshire pulls Drinkis in to control the position.
Drinkis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cheshire looking for a sweep. Not yet Cheshire, not yet.
Cheshire is working hard here to advance position.
Drinkis passes Cheshire's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Cheshire wants to control but Drinkis is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Drinkis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cheshire is looking for a sweep. Drinkis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Drinkis is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cheshire!
Drinkis tries to control but Cheshire wriggling away.
Drinkis breaks from Cheshire's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drinkis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cheshire's face.

Cheshire wants to hold on but Drinkis pushes him away.
Cheshire is in a horrible position here. Drinkis smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Cheshire is rocked!
Cheshire is desperately trying to improve his position but Drinkis has a good base and remains in mount.
Cheshire tries to hold on but Drinkis pushes him away.
Cheshire working to try and regain half guard.
Drinkis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cheshire looks a forlorn figure.
Drinkis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Drinkis cracks Cheshire with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cheshire wants to hold on but Drinkis pushes him away.
Cheshire is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Drinkis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Drinkis raining down shots from the mount!

Drinkis lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cheshire hang on?
Oh Cheshire is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drinkis postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Cheshire is out cold - huge knockout for Drinkis!
