Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hara comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Eminence front. Taylor has chosen Miseria Cantare - The Beginning as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Hara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hara closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hara moves away.
Hara closes the distance and clinches up with Taylor, looking for a takedown. Hara pushes Taylor against the cage but Taylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hara drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Taylor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hara trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Taylor looking for a sweep. Not yet Taylor, not yet.
Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hara drops back, looking for a kneebar! Taylor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Taylor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Taylor!

Taylor tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Hara is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Taylor off and has taken his back!

Hara is persistently looking for the submission but Taylor is defending it well.

Hara has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Taylor wants to control his opponent's hands but Hara gets his hands free.
Hara is looking to control Taylor but Taylor is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Hara connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Taylor to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taylor tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Hara goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Taylor is on top in guard.
Hara pulls Taylor in close to prevent any damage.
Hara has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Taylor has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hara is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Taylor slaps away a takedown attempt from Hara, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jake Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Taylor works over Hara's head and body with a nice combination.
Jake Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Taylor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hara shoots in looking for a takedown but Taylor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hara's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Hara dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hara has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hara there as he acknowledges the shot.
Taylor throws a nice looking combination but Hara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Hara counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Taylor!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hara fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Taylor bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Hara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Taylor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Taylor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hara is looking to sweep but instead, Taylor has passed into half guard.

Hara gets full guard.

Taylor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hara manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Taylor manages to get himself to full guard.

Hara is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Josh Hara overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Taylor is staying active underneath Hara, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hara thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hara lands strikes from half guard.
Taylor has hold of Hara's hands but Hara slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hara is trying to work for a kimura but Taylor is defending well.
Taylor is staying active underneath Hara, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Taylor is trying to maintain the position but Hara is very close to passing his half guard.

Hara decides to return to a standing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Hara dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Taylor fails to land with a series of punches.
Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.
Hara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Taylor pinned against the cage. Taylor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hara misses with a few strikes there.
Hara misses with a takedown attempt - Taylor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Hara. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Taylor lands with a nice combination. Hara backs away looking to recover.

and Hara counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Hara seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Taylor is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
