Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, David Nixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Beam!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Nixon misses.

Beam drives through and clinches with Nixon against the cage.
Nixon manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Beam gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like David Nixon has been cut.

Nixon breaks from the clinch.
Beam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nixon tries to clinch but Beam is having none of it.

Nixon lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Beam backs up against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Beam just misses with a elbow thrown towards Nixon's brow.

Beam tries to close the distance and clinch but Nixon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Beam has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Nixon shoots in looking for a takedown but Beam manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nixon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nixon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Beam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nixon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
David Nixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nixon keeps the fight on the outside.
Beam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nixon closes the distance and clinches up with Beam, looking for a takedown. Nixon pushes Beam against the cage but Beam circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A nice inside leg kick there by Beam. That's going to slow Nixon down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Beam looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beam throws a leg kick which misses Nixon's front leg but catches the back leg as Nixon tries to avoid it.
Nixon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Beam fails with an attempt to clinch.
A left and a right from Nixon both land. Nice combination.
Beam thuds his right hand into Nixon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Beam avoids the body shot from Nixon.
Beam blocks a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jim Beam will probably get the nod.

Nixon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nixon misses with a takedown attempt - Beam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Beam is looking to control Nixon's arms but Nixon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Beam has his back to the cage.

Nixon blocks the elbow strike.
Beam lands a nice knee to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Beam tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Nixon avoids it.

Nixon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jim Beam seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nixon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beam walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Beam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nixon tries to land a body kick
and Beam counters with a nice uppercut.


Nixon is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nixon shoots in but Beam avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Oh Nixon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Beam lands a right hook to the body.

Beam closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Beam lands an elbow that stopped Nixon in his tracks for a moment.
Beam working the clinch nicely. Nixon is working for position but Beam cracks him with a big knee to the head! Nixon crumples up against the cage and Beam lands two more shots before the ref can save Nixon! This one is all over!
