Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angel Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Zuman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angel Munoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Timmy Zuman!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Munoz fails with a takedown attempt.
Zuman misses with a double jab.
Zuman tries to clinch up

and Munoz counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Zuman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Munoz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Munoz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zuman avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Angel Munoz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zuman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Munoz pulls Zuman in close to his closed guard and prevents Zuman from doing any damage or advancing position.
Zuman trying to control the position from guard on top but Munoz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Munoz is on top in guard.

Munoz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zuman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Munoz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Munoz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Zuman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zuman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Zuman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Munoz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Munoz is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Munoz regains half guard.
Zuman thows a huge punch but Munoz dodges it nicely.
Munoz regains full guard. Nicely done.

Munoz looking for subs off his back but Zuman has passed one foot through into half guard.

Zuman wants to control but Munoz is keeping him busy.
Zuman stops Munoz from getting back to his feet.
Munoz is looking to control Zuman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Munoz avoid being mounted?

Zuman stands up and beckons Munoz to join him on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zuman shoots in but Munoz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zuman looks winded!

Munoz has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Timmy Zuman will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Zuman gets tackled into the cage by Munoz. Munoz maintains the clinch.

Munoz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Munoz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Zuman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Munoz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Munoz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Zuman stands up and waves to Munoz to follow him.
Munoz goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Zuman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Munoz sprawls well initially but Zuman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Munoz is trying to stand.
Munoz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Zuman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Munoz is not content to let Zuman control the position.
Munoz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Munoz.
Zuman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Zuman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Munoz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zuman has managed to get both his arms back between Munoz's legs - danger averted.
Zuman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Zuman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Zuman trying to control but Munoz is working from the bottom.
Munoz seems keen to control Zuman's posture.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Angel Munoz.
Munoz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Zuman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Zuman is breathing heavily.
Zuman trying to control the action but Munoz is working from the bottom.

Zuman wants to control from the top but Munoz keeps moving.

Munoz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zuman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zuman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Munoz looking for a guillotine here but Zuman defends easily.

Munoz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zuman defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Timmy Zuman will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Zuman wants to clinch.
Zuman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Munoz but Munoz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zuman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Munoz defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zuman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Munoz fails to land the takedown.
Zuman slaps away a takedown attempt from Munoz, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Zuman misses with a takedown attempt - Munoz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zuman shoots in looking for a takedown. Munoz tries to sprawl out of it but Zuman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Munoz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Munoz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Munoz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zuman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Munoz gets control of Zuman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Munoz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zuman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Zuman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Munoz pulls Zuman in to control the position.
Zuman tries to free his leg and advance position but Munoz is retaining full guard.

Munoz manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Munoz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zuman's waist but Zuman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Munoz off to one side.

Zuman has a takedown stuffed.
Angel Munoz is winning the standup battle so far.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Munoz.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zuman.
Munoz shoots in and drives through. Zuman sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Munoz is defended easily by Zuman.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Munoz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Munoz wants it to stay on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Angel Munoz showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Zuman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
