Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler comes to the cage accompanied by Yep. Jake Tyler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Slim Shady's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shady scores with a jab.

Tyler tries to throw a body punch but Shady avoids it by throwing Tyler back against the cage.

Tyler is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Shady can't fight it off and eventually Tyler manages to take the fight to the floor. Shady looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tyler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shady swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tyler throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tyler lands a right hand that snaps the head of Shady backwards.

Tyler jumps into guard, dragging Shady to the mat.

Tyler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shady gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tyler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shady defends it easily.

Shady got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tyler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shady has managed to get both his arms back between Tyler's legs - danger averted.
Tyler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shady can do to turn this around?

Tyler has his foot on Shady's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shady works his way back into a safe position though.
