Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sigvard Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelius comes to the cage accompanied by Marcia Carolus Rex. Scott Cain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelius misses with a hook. Cain ducked under it nicely.
Aurelius scores with a leg kick.
Cain walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aurelius moves away.
Aurelius stuffs the takedown attempt from Cain. Cain gets slowly back to his feet.
Cain moves out of range of the body kick.
A lazy left from Cain finds it's target.
Aurelius dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cain. That did some damage!
Scott Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cain looking to score a takedown here. Aurelius is defending well but Cain drives through and ends up in Aurelius's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Cain is looking for a sweep. Aurelius is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Sigvard Aurelius will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Aurelius is looking to chop away at Cain's legs.

Aurelius pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Aurelius throws out a loose jab but Cain uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aurelius waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cain.
Cain thows a body shot but no joy.
Cain drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Cain tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Aurelius throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Sigvard Aurelius overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cain tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cain has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cain passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Aurelius!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Cain swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Aurelius is now in Cain's guard. A big mistake from Cain there, giving up the dominant position!

Aurelius wants to hold on but Cain pushes him away.

Cain is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Aurelius knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Aurelius for a finish.

Aurelius shoots in looking for a takedown. Cain tries to sprawl out of it but Aurelius keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aurelius throws a nice looking combination but Cain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cain takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Aurelius swings for the body but Cain moves out of range.
Aurelius shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Cain has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Aurelius doesn't defend quickly enough and Cain has managed to lock this one up! Can Aurelius escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cain on a fantastic submission victory.
