The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esteban moves out of range as Pettersson throws a body kick.
Esteban slips under a jab.
Pettersson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Esteban.
Esteban pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pettersson back to the cage. Esteban follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Esteban shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pettersson eats them both and turns towards Esteban to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Pettersson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Esteban's sensitive parts.
Pettersson drops his hands momentarily and Esteban takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pettersson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pettersson.
A left lands for Esteban.
Pettersson lands a leg kick that knocks Esteban off balance momentarily.
Esteban's corner calls for a 1-2. Esteban obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
An inside leg kick from Pettersson misses.
Pettersson throws a solid leg kick but Esteban takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pettersson.
Pettersson throws a leg kick which misses Esteban's front leg but catches the back leg as Esteban tries to avoid it.
Esteban connects with a single shot there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Esteban, as that shot connected.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Pettersson.
Esteban throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pettersson.
Pettersson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Esteban lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Esteban.

Pettersson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Esteban scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Esteban is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Esteban throws a series of strikes that have Pettersson backpedaling.
Pettersson tries to move into range but Esteban moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Esteban is working the combinations to good effect here.
Pettersson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Esteban circles away.

Esteban gets caught flat footed, as Pettersson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pettersson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pettersson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Esteban screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pettersson! Nice submission victory there!
