The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanks slips a jab from Ivanovic.

Hanks rushes Ivanovic and presses him up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A frustrated look appears on Hanks's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Hanks misses with an uppercut. Ivanovic saw that one coming.
A jab from Ivanovic does it's job there.
Ivanovic tries to clinch but Hanks moves out of range.

Ivanovic cracks a nice hook into Hanks's ribs.

Hanks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hanks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ivanovic.
Ivanovic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hanks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A left and a right from Ivanovic both land. Nice combination.
Ivanovic is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Hanks moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
