Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: mindfields. Charlie Monroe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monroe gets caught napping as Sharpe dives in and scores a takedown. Monroe manages to retain guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sharpe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sharpe works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Monroe is defending against the submission attempts here by Sharpe.

Sharpe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Monroe is just riding it out for now. Sharpe eventually gives up the hold.
Monroe is trying to stand up here but Sharpe is controlling him well.

Sharpe is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Monroe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Monroe shrugs it off.
