Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miquel Costas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jos Mykhaylenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mykhaylenko has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mykhaylenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Costas fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Mykhaylenko wants to break free but Costas has control.
Mykhaylenko is looking to break free of the clinch but Costas has double underhooks.
Costas manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Costas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Costas keeping moving, preventing Mykhaylenko from controlling successfully.
Costas wants to stand up but Mykhaylenko is controlling him.

Mykhaylenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Costas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mykhaylenko has managed to get both his arms back between Costas's legs - danger averted.

Mykhaylenko is sitting in close to Costas's body. Costas has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mykhaylenko is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mykhaylenko is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Costas.
