Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Graham Polliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cantona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Cantona!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polliver throws a sloppy head kick and Cantona moves out of range easily.
Polliver pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Polliver tries to clinch but Cantona is having none of it.

Polliver throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cantona throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Polliver's waist but Polliver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cantona off to one side.
Polliver throws a hook to the side of Cantona's head but Cantona sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Polliver fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cantona tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Polliver swivels and escapes.

Polliver moves into range and clinches up with Cantona.

Polliver breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Polliver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cantona swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cantona uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Polliver.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cantona fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Graham Polliver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Cantona.
