Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Murray!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray throws an off balance right hand
and Rider counters with a nice body shot.
Rider throws out a powerful jab.
Murray takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A slow jab from Murray misses its intended target.
Murray fails with an attempt to clinch.
Murray misses with a looping right.
Murray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rider bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Murray ducks under a wild hook from Rider.
Rider throws out a leg kick but Murray moves out of range and Rider only half commits.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rider throws a hook but Murray blocks it.
Murray throws an overhand right that lands on Rider's shoulder, as Rider tries to avoid the shot.
Rider displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Murray throws out the jab.
Murray jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Murray has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Andrew Rider is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Murray throws a right hand that misses
and Rider counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Murray catches Rider with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Andrew Rider has been cut.
Murray takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Murray swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Murray looks to throw the jab but Rider is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murray missing with a left hand there. Rider was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Murray's corner calls for a 1-2. Murray obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Carlos Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murray on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Murray fails with the takedown.
Rider pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rider just misses with a punch to the body.
Rider throws a right hand that misses
and Murray counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Rider! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Carlos Murray thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
