The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuenca uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Trott.
Cuenca looks for the body kick but Trott saw that one coming.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trott, as that shot connected.
Cuenca does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Trott fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cuenca looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cuenca is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That kick from Trott tenderised Cuenca's leg. Cuenca is trying to keep his angry face on.

Trott thuds his right hand into Cuenca's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Trott is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Cuenca had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Trott waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Cuenca. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Cuenca to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trott is working Cuenca over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
