Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viljo Laine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan's entrance music is Girlfriend. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Ryan.
Laine cracks Ryan with a good jab.
Laine tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ryan checks a leg kick.
Laine uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ryan.
Laine fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ryan is out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Laine. That snapped Ryan's head back.
Viljo Laine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laine throws the kick towards the body but Ryan avoids it.
Laine scores with a hook to the body. Ryan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Laine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Laine finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ryan throws out a loose jab but Laine uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ryan looks to score with a jab to the body but Laine is just out of range.
Laine lands a nice hook to Ryan's body. Ryan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ryan throws a chopping leg kick but Laine manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Laine tries to land a front kick but Ryan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ryan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ryan moves forwards but Laine connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ryan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Laine fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ryan lands a right hook to the body.
Laine takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Ryan is looking to slow Laine down with leg kicks.
The fighters circling - Laine throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Laine lands a slapping body shot.

Laine uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ryan.
Laine does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Laine fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ryan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Laine punishes Ryan's body with a nice straight punch.
Ryan moves out of range of the body kick.
Ryan slips a straight right by Laine.
Ryan cracks the inside of Laine's front leg.
Ryan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laine thows a left - swing and a miss!
Laine lands a head shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laine throws a leg kick that misses.
Laine walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Laine tries to land a front kick but Ryan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Laine swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ryan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Ryan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Laine looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Laine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ryan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ryan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ryan checks a leg kick nicely.
Laine throws a jab when Ryan was well out of range.
Ryan throws a big shot that misses.
Laine swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A big right from Ryan misses.
Ryan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Laine.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ryan, right into the meat.
Good leg kick by Ryan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Laine looks winded!
Laine is looking to land body kicks.
Laine checks a low kick from Ryan.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ryan.
Laine takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ryan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Laine pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ryan lands with a cross.
Good work by Ryan as he checks the leg kick.

Laine jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ryan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Laine moves out of range of the leg kick from Ryan.
Ryan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Some wild striking there from Ryan.
Ryan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ryan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ryan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Laine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Laine throws a leg kick but Ryan moved away.
Ryan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Laine is out of range.
Ryan throws a nice outside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ryan.
Laine on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ryan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Laine.
Laine takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ryan connects with a body shot.

Ryan's corner calls for a 1-2. Ryan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Ryan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Laine. Laine circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Laine is rocked!
Ryan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Laine is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryan finish him?
A looping hook to the body misses from Ryan. Laine does a little dance to reset his feet.
Laine seems to have recovered his senses.
Ryan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Laine takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Laine takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ryan throws a body punch but Laine moves out of range.
Ryan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ryan lands a big uppercut and Laine crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Laine looks OK. Ryan waves Laine back to his feet!
Ryan drops Laine with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Laine! Ryan dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Ryan!
