Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Nabokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojo Monchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monchi has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Igor Nabokov has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monchi looking to score a takedown here. Nabokov is defending well but Monchi drives through and ends up in Nabokov's guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nabokov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Nabokov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nabokov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Monchi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Nabokov is tightening it up a little... Monchi has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Monchi reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Monchi taps out! Nice BJJ there by Nabokov!

Igor Nabokov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
