Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogem lands with a shot to the body.
Bogem is looking to chop away at Wantanabe's legs.
Wantanabe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bogem.
Bogem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bogem thows a body shot but no joy.
Wantanabe decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wantanabe takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bogem jabs at Wantanabe's body.
Bogem will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bogem shoots for a double leg takedown but Wantanabe sprawls well. He's pushed Bogem's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bogem gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wantanabe to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wantanabe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bogem, up you get!
Wantanabe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
