The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a series of punches but Steele avoids them all with ease.
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from King does no damage.

Steele throws a left that rocks King and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Steele dives into side control, looking to finish! Can King regain composure!

It looks like Ryan King has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Steele wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
Steele blocks the strikes from King.
Steele lands some shots froms side control.

King is rocked!
Steele moves into full mount!
King is still in real trouble! Can Steele finish him?
Steele postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt King bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Steele and the fight is over!

A relieved looking Axl Steele thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
