PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between TakaGori Bomby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Burkholder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomby comes to the cage accompanied by Redrum- doomsday. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomby lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Burkholder shoots in looking for a takedown but Bomby manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Burkholder's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Burkholder throws out a loose jab but Bomby uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bomby's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bomby drops back looking for a leg! Burkholder is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burkholder manages to kick Bomby off! Bomby jumps back into Burkholder's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
