Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Schmitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurmas Uusisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmitt comes to the cage accompanied by In God We Trust - Stryper. Uusisto has chosen System Of A Down - B.Y.O.B. as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmitt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Uusisto.
Uusisto ducks under a wild hook from Schmitt.
Uusisto lands a head shot.

and Uusisto counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Schmitt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Uusisto moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Schmitt.

Schmitt throws a lazy uppercut
and Uusisto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Uusisto lands with a straight right. Schmitt didn't see that one coming.
Uusisto scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Schmitt is rocked!
Uusisto blocks a jab.
Uusisto connects with a body shot that sends Schmitt's belly button to the back.

Schmitt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Uusisto throws a front kick aimed at Schmitt's knee but Schmitt avoids it well.
Schmitt throws a wild body kick that Uusisto sees coming a mile off.

Uusisto moves away from the strike by Schmitt.
Schmitt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oh Schmitt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Uusisto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Owen Schmitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schmitt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Schmitt slips a jab from Uusisto.
Uusisto circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Schmitt to the canvas! Schmitt doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Uusisto keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
