Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rha Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Porucha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rha Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rickson Porucha!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porucha connects with a single shot there.
Khan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Porucha manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Porucha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Khan throws out the jab.
Porucha misses with a takedown attempt - Khan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Khan throws an overhand right that lands on Porucha's shoulder, as Porucha tries to avoid the shot.

Khan takes the fight into the clinch.
Khan misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Porucha prevents a body shot from Khan.
Khan throws a punch but it's blocked by Porucha.

Porucha breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Porucha ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Khan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Porucha lands with a cross.
Khan throws a right and a left that Porucha avoids nicely.
Porucha misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Khan.
Rha Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Porucha shoots in but Khan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Khan throws a lazy right hand but Porucha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Porucha misses with a wild body shot.
Khan misses with the combination.
Porucha misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Khan.
Porucha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Khan misses the jab.
Horrible takedown by Porucha or perhaps it was just good defense by Khan which made him look bad.
Rha Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Porucha.
Khan throws a head kick that misses
and Porucha counters with a series of strikes. Khan will be more careful next time no doubt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Porucha scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khan doesn't seem bothered though.
Khan throws a front kick aimed at Porucha's knee but Porucha avoids it well.
Khan leaves Porucha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Porucha is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Khan rather than just go for the knockout.
Khan is looking to clinch but Porucha is avoiding it.
Porucha scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Porucha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Porucha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Khan throws an off balance right hand
and Porucha counters with a nice uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Khan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Porucha eats them both and turns towards Khan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Porucha looks for a takedown but Khan sprawls well.
Porucha swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Porucha blocks the leg kick.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Porucha moves out of range easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Khan missing with a left hand there. Porucha was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Khan swings for the body but Porucha moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rickson Porucha will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Khan avoids the head kick by Porucha.
Porucha checks a low kick from Khan.
Khan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Porucha checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Porucha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Porucha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khan was well out of range. Poor timing from Porucha.
Khan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Porucha circles away from the clinch attempt

and Porucha counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Khan's guard now.

Khan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Porucha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Khan is keeping the position for now.
Porucha trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Porucha's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Porucha trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Porucha won't allow Khan to get back to his feet.
Khan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Porucha trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom.
Porucha looking to sit in guard and control but Khan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Porucha wants to sweep but no luck.
Porucha controlling the position.
Porucha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Khan has gone for a leg lock! Porucha slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khan's guard.

Porucha throws a strike but Khan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Khan wants to control from the top but Porucha keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Porucha works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Porucha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rickson Porucha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Porucha counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Porucha's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rickson Porucha seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Porucha with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Khan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Porucha at a distance.
Khan is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Porucha's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Porucha scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Khan misses with a combination
and Porucha counters with a stiff right hand.
Khan throws a poor cross that misses
and Porucha counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Porucha paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Khan throws a shot from downtown. Porucha moves away and avoids it.
Porucha takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.
Porucha has his takedown stuffed
and Porucha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Khan throws a lazy right hand but Porucha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Khan is looking to clinch.
Porucha is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Khan swinging wildly here.
Porucha just misses with a punch to the body.
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch but Porucha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Khan tries to keep at a distance but Porucha has taken the fight into the clinch.

Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Porucha scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Porucha jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Khan thows a body shot but no joy.
Porucha connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Khan's hands.
Porucha ducks under a wild hook from Khan.
Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Khan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Khan looks to land a right hand but Porucha moved out of range.
Khan dodges the punch combination from Porucha.
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Porucha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Porucha digs a good hook to Khan's body.
Khan cracks Porucha with a good jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Khan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Porucha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Khan throws a right hand that misses
and Porucha counters with a left to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rha Khan showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Porucha has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
