The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Wilde shoots in for a double leg but Buffet sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
De Wilde shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Buffet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Dimitri De Wilde has been cut.

De Wilde scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
De Wilde wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buffet keeps working.
Buffet is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked De Wilde off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buffet has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for De Wilde! Can he survive? No! He's out! Buffet gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
